ENTRIES WILL OPEN ON SATURDAY, MARCH 5TH (2022) AT 5PM This race will sell out, in less than 30 minutes of opening entries!! If you have run it before, you will probably know why. If you are lucky enough to get a place, you will also know, by May 29th. This will NOT be via a ballot process, merely 'fastest fingers first'. If you want a place, set an alarm (no...set several alarms) and be ready to access this website on March 5th. Entries will open at 17:00 hours (and not a minute before)  Consistently rated by Runners World UK as one of their top 50 UK races & consistently rated by the Harvel Hash House Harriers as one of their top days out!! WE PURPOSEFULLY LIMIT THE RACE ENTRIES TO APPROXIMATELY 900 RUNNERS. YOU WILL NEED TO ACT FAST, AND BE PREPARED, IF YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF OUR 2022 RACE. WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER PLACES 'ON THE DAY'. Due to being completely sold out, well in advance. THERE IS NO WAITING LIST We NOT be able to allow runners to DEFER their entry to 2023, nor SWAP their race place, with another runner. We have a number of runners (from 2021) who were allowed to defer (due entirely to the pandemic). Those places cannot be deferred again, beyond May 28th (nor can they be swapped). If this raises any issues at all, plse contact us via:H5.race.committee@gmail.com Check out our website, for more details: http://harvelhashhouseharriers.com/harvel-5/ Think of our event as a "well organised, club-based 5 mile race, collided with an English country village fete, and complete with an industrial-sized tanker full of beer" and you will pretty much have described our race. At the end of the day, we are a Hash Club after all! Our faster runners will complete the course in around 25 minutes, whereas we know that our event also attracts newer, less speedy runners. We encourage all abilities Run partly on (partially closed) roads, plus through the Trottiscliffe Country park, and set on the edge of the North Downs, it is a simply beautiful event. Check out our reviews on Runners World, to get a full sense of what you are letting yourself in for: https://www.runnersworld.co.uk/event/ratings/harvel-5-103317 We hope to see you on the day...Till then On On
