After two years of Covid disruptions, the Christmas Pudding Dash returns in 2021 for the 16th year to its traditional pre-Christmas slot. So, why not join us at this firm Christmas favourite? It’s the perfect way to celebrate the start of the Christmas holiday season. Dig out your festive running gear and enjoy the great festive race atmosphere. The race itself is a tough cross country, 5 Mile-ish race, taking place around the farmland of Pickham Farm and through local woodland. Fancy dress is encouraged, of course, for a race that is as popular amongst seasoned athletes as it is amongst beginners and those new to races. All finishers will receive a superb bespoke medal and there will be trophies for the leading runners and age category winners. As usual, there will be two options for younger runners - either take part in a single lap of the two lap route or take part in our fun run for youngsters. If you have entered the race in good time, your race number will be sent to you in the post, otherwise you will need to collect your bib number on the day. Full race information will be set to you by email a few days before the race. Hopefully, all Covid restrictions will remain lifted for the race, which means a return to mass starts. That said, we will still retain some elements of our Covid safety processes to help protect, runners, spectators and volunteers.
