Saxon Shore Half Marathon - Amazing coastline, great spectator support and live music on the route 

Now in its 7th year, this event is proving popular and has sold out each year. Join us for the Saxon Shore Half Marathon along the lovely seafronts of Whitstable and Herne Bay. We have a great Event HQ, with an Event Village. We also have enhanced aid stations this year, every 5k along the route. The live music is also back in 2024. The Event Village is a great place for family and friends to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and is in easy reach of some great viewing points along the course.

The majority of the route is along the seafront from Whitstable to Herne Bay and back and in most part is fairly flat and fast, making it ideal for beginners or those looking for a quick time.
