At the Headcorn Half Marathon, David Bowden gained 18th position as the first Harrier home in 1:27:17, closely followed by Mark Cooper in 1:29:37. Faye Roberts made the third lady home in 1:29:55 and Penny Birchall was the first Vet Lady 55 in 1:45:59. The Canterbury Harriers achieved theteam prize due to these excellent results.

At the Tenterden 5, Andy Philips came an impressive 26th position for his debut in 33:54. Also making their first debut was Anna Fisk (42:53), Karen Hoult (46:12) and Philip Hadler (51:45).
